UPDATE – Adventures Overland – Late Summer Show September 22-23 2018

Due to the ongoing pain of my shoulder injury we’ve reluctantly decided that I’m not fit to attend the show this weekend. Jon will be displaying his beautiful 6 wheel military ambulance conversion (and some of my work) on our stand. Hope to see some of you on Saturday when we’re planning on popping down…

Adventures Overland – Late Summer Show September 22-23 2018

We’re having a stand at Adventures Overland again this year, looking forward to meeting up with customer’s old and new. However, because I can’t be in two places at once, it does mean the workshop will be closed from Friday 21 – Monday 24 September 2018. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Our New Address

Unit 16, Imex Business Park, Fisher Street, Dudley Port, Tipton, West Midlands DY4 8XE

Replacement Covers for Discovery 1 Front Seat Bases

These seat base covers were shipped over to Iceland for the customer to fit himself. Made in top quality vinyl these are an excellent, and economic match, to the original leather seats.

Discovery 2 Headlining

What a transformation!

Bin Buddy XL

Meet the big brother of the “Bin Buddy” (which fits onto a ladder or jerry can holder). With one large pocket and a front pocket it has heavy duty webbing straps and buckles. These bags are made to order and the straps can be extended to make the bag fit larger tyres with ease.

Discovery 3 Commercial – Seat Repair

The driver’s seat of a Discovery 3 commercial, the base had obviously seen some hard use in it’s (relatively) short life. The owner wasn’t interested in matching fabrics, he just wanted ‘something practical and hard wearing’. The result may not be a perfect colour match but it certainly fills the brief!

Series 3 Seats

Liz fancied a sympathetic upgrade on her worn Series 3 seats, something custom but still in keeping with the age of the vehicle.

Leather restoration – what a difference a day makes!

You’d hardly believe this is the top and base of the same seat would you? Don’t worry I did restore the base to match to back after taking this photo to show what a difference the restoration process makes.

Heritage Styling

Standard Defender seats in ‘Heritage’ style. Proving that sometimes the simplest changes can make a world of difference to the look of a seat.

Stepping Up

The original seat was rather plain and ‘flat’, but now it has more shape as well as a nice new cover.

Spare Wheel Covers

Made to measure spare wheel covers. Top quality materials and a wide range of colours, materials and finishes.

Reliant Scimitar Interior

Refurbished and customised Reliant Scimitar interior nearly finished. The carpet is about the only thing we’re not retrimming! Here’s a few snaps – unfortunately I changed phones mid project and due to a technical hitch I’ve lost the photos of the seats, console, steering cowl, side panels, headlining and sun visors. Hopefully I’ll be getting…

Custom Motorbike Seat

Liam brought in a previously customised bike seat, which had definitely gone past its sell by date! Liam left us a great review: “Had my motorbike seat re-covered. Was done for the next day to a better quality than the factory seat. They even did things like steam cleaning and replacing my sponge, also waterproofing…

Buzzweld Merchandise

Here we have some of the merchandise we’ve been making for our great friends over at Buzzweld. Items can be added to your Buzzweld order or ordered direct. Although not shown, Tshirts are also available.

P38 Headlining

P38 headlining had been damaged by a water leak coming through the seal on the replacement windscreen. Now looking as good as new.

Series Style Door Pockets

These Series style door pockets are attached to the doors using heavy duty press studs and they provide a great bit of extra storage in your Series, Land Rover 90, 110 or early Defender. Available in a wide range of colours.

Preparing for Adventure! Part 1

Bill and Maggie are planning an epic retirement trip and we’ve been helping them to get their camping gear into tip top condition and making up extra bits to make their travels more comfortable. Replacement Foxwing cover, corner pieces for their straight sided awning panels and a custom made, padded, solar panel storage/transport bag.

Equine Fashion Statement – Part 2

Not to be outdone by Pheobie here we have the gorgeous Theo modelling his embroidered cooler. So this weekend (12 March 2017) it was Theo’s turn to go out and do some dressage. It was for trailblazer championship. We got a 4th in our first class with 63% then got a 2nd in the second…
